Hi Iam proud to be a owner of this great working drumset, its not a toy sounds great/ but one question: What is the difference between the gig pig standard and with Extendable Hi-Hat ???
On the standard Pig the Hi-Hat is always close to the pig on the Extended yopu can pull it out about 15 – 20 cm so that you can use a larger Hi-Hat that 8 inch.
Dear AURIS-Team!
My long expected GigPig finally arrived – that`s great!
Though I experienced the GigPig live on stage before, I was again impressed by its` unique sound – it really is an amazing instrument!
Many thanks also for the very careful package!
Best wishes from Germany!
Jule
I own and play a gigpig set since several years. Sometimes I want to recommend this to other drummers. But your new website doesn’t have some nice pictures as it was on the old website. That would be very helpful.

I recently bought a Lyra (pentatonic, 12 strings)in Zürich, Switzerland and I’m very happy with it! I keep wondering what kind of symbol that “y”-shaped form in the middle of the wood is. Could anyone tell me? I connected it to the Yggdrasil but I might well be wrong…
The Y is not a Y or not even to be considered as a tone hole in the instrument. The Y shaped opening is meant to create three “tongues” that are resonating with slightly different frequencies whilst you are playing the lyre. From the beginning the small Auris lyre models had no such form at all and were quite much stronger but simpler sounding. After the creation of the “Y-hole” which I did together with the composer and music teacher Per Ahlbom, the sound became richer and more “spherical” which also were what we strived to achieve. Wee just bought one of your pentatonic Lyras for children in one shop in Lisboan, Portugal, but we are having trouble in finding small, simple, introductionary pieces to play with it. Can you helps us to find some simple melodies like this – written, of couse.

Hi, interesting concept. Does the kit comes with the hardware for cymbals , included ?
No, you have to order the cymbals separately. Check the price list.
